Procurement Support

 

We have acted as principal technical advisor on over a dozen waste procurement exercises with a combined estimated contract value in excess of £1 billion. 

 

We use our market intelligence and procurement experience to help waste collection authorities manage risk, avoid potential pitfalls & deliver defined procurement objectives on time and within budget.

Service Reviews

 

We are experienced in conducting comprehensive service reviews for a wide range of environmental streetscene services including municipal waste collection, recycling, street cleansing and grounds maintenance. 

 

We can gather and assess performance data, conduct a financial analysis, benchmark with comparator authorities and identify practical recommendations for improving future service delivery.

 

Option Appraisal

 

We can identify a range of practical and innovative options but can also help the client and key stakeholders evaluate each option in a structured manner, so as to be able to identify a preferred option. 

 

This type of service can either be provided in isolation or in conjunction with other complementary services such as a service review and/or cost & performance modelling.

 

 

Cost & Performance Modelling

 

The ability to assess the cost & performance of any given level of service is particularly useful, as it can inform option appraisals and procurement exercises (i.e. development of the specification) and decision making. 

 

We can produce service designs and determine the associated labour, equipment and consumables profile, which can be used to calculate the service costs.

Feasibility Studies

Interim/Project Manager
